We accept children 5 years and older.

All shapes and sizes are welcome! For flying trapeze we require that you’re able to securely tie the safety belt around your waist, which generally fits up to 250lbs.

Everyone is welcome, no matter your experience. We all have to start somewhere!

Please inform us of any history of injury or concussion. Women who are or may be pregnant should refrain from participating in flying trapeze and doing aerial drops. It is recommended that you speak with a health professional before registering.

We recommend that you wear comfortable, tight-fitting clothing that allows full range of motion. Leggings, which cover the back of the knees, are preferable for aerial classes. Short clothes are recommended for pole sport classes, since it's the skin that adheres to the pole. Knee pads and yoga mats are strongly suggested for floor movement classes. For safety reasons, we ask that all jewelry be removed before classes begin.

If you need to cancel your registration, we ask that you do so at least 24 hours before the start of the class. No credit will be issued for cancellations made after this deadline. This applies to all classes, as well as private events. Special workshops may have different cancellation policies.

If it's your first time at the Montreal Circus Academy, we ask that you arrive 5 to 10 minutes early so that you can locate our facilities within the complex. By arriving 5 to 10 minutes before classes start, you'll have plenty of time to change, check in and get ready for action. There's no need to warm up before class starts, as warm-ups are included in the time allotted.

We are located at 2350 Dickson, right near the intersection of Dickson and Hochelaga, in the east end of Montreal. We are located off Highway 25, near the Assomption metro station.

The Montreal Circus Academy is easily accessible by car and public transit. Parking is free and located by door E on Dickson Street. Bixi bikes are also available for a quick ride from the metro.
